The ADHD-association in Finland is founded in 1989. The head office is located in Helsinki. The association consists of approximately 20 local support groups all over the country.

The main purpose of the association is to support people with disorders such as MBD, ADD and ADHD. The association also helps families and other social networks like relatives, schools, health-care centers and social workers to understand the needs of people with a disorder. The ADHD-association is active in arranging lectures, summer camps and holiday activities. The association has its own magazine called ”ADHD-lehti”.
