The Spanish Federation of ADHD Supporting Associations (Federación Española de Asociaciones de Ayuda al Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad, F.E.A.A.D.A.H.) is a non profit entity which was established in 2002 as a consequence of the existence in Spain of an associative movement supporting ADHD in the different Regions of this country, but none for the whole Spain. The structure of the Spanish Federation revolves around a forum for all the ADHD associations in Spain in order to coordinate their activities and to help new associations that are just starting their walk on ADHD support and advocacy. This is done by helping the exchange of experiences and activities amongst all associations. The Spanish Federation enables all associations to have a single voice, to speak at the national level with the Spanish State Institutions. to prepare activities on a national level such as conferences, relations with national media, consensus documents, and so on. The international relationships are also in charge of the Spanish Federation. The associations that form part of the Spanish Federation as full right members are only associations of parents and people affected by ADHD, that is to say, there are no associations constituted by professionals as full right members of the Spanish Federation, but they can be members with the right to participate in the meetings of the Federation but cannot vote. The Spanish Federation is organized with a General Assembly which is constituted by the representatives of all the member associations, a Directors Board, a Secretariat, a President, a Vice-president and a Treasurer.
