The Concern of Support Groups in ADHS Deutschland
Many parents of children with ADHD have experienced a lengthy and frustrating odyssey in search of support. Often they have been refused support half-heartedly or impatiently when  they were hoping for help. As a result, they have experienced many difficult years in their private and professional lives. The disorder is often not diagnosed in adults because the clinical picture is still largely unknown in adulthood. Those affected need impartial listeners, expert help, self-help and learning aids. They need information on relevant publications, school guidelines or legislation. Others would like to share their knowledge and experience with similarly affected people or with the public.
ADHS Deutschland supports these concerns through its numerous self-help groups.

“neue AKZENTE”
The ADHS Deutschland magazine “neue AKZENTE,” which members receive three times a year free of charge, offers information on:
• the latest news from science, medicine and therapy
• interesting news and special reports from the support groups
• reviews of new books about the issue of ADHD
• news from “ADHS Deutschland”
“Neue AKZENTE” is complemented by an annual reference book on particular topics.

ADHS Deutschland Publishing House
In addition to its own publications, ADHS Deutschland offers informative material and recommended literature for people who have ADHD, and/or others who have a personal or professional interest in finding out more about the condition. They provide commendable books on issues related to ADHD.
